Europa Universalis 4 is a Grand Strategy video game, with Paradox Development Studio as the developer. Within the series of Europa Universalis, Europa Universalis 4 is the fourth instalment. After the success of Europa Universalis 3, which received excellent reviews by both the critics and the players, Europa Universalis 4 sure follows the footstep of its predecessor with huge commercial success. Ever since Europa Universalis 4 marks its first appearance in the market, the game has sold millions of copies across the globe.
The game takes the players' minds to a wiser level with the ability to manipulate a nation from the Late Middle Ages (the 1440s) through the Early modern period (1820 anno Domini). A wide range of history facts appears in the game and allows the player to invest in it. Even more, the game encourages the players to activate their minds by making up the most useful strategies.
