Mount and Blade Warband

Introduction

TaleWorlds Entertainment, the Turkish company, developed Mount & Blade: Warband in January 2009, and Paradox Interactive on March 30, 2010. Later on, Paradox Interactive has given publishing back to the developer, followed by the Ravenscourt publishing of M&B Warband for both Playstation 4 and Xbox One in September 2016.

As I mentioned earlier, the game has a vague mainline story, so you mainly create your own story in the game. Still, M&B Warband emphasizes house-mounted combat and allows players to enhance their practical logistics and management skill. The combination of M&B Warband features would make you get addicted.

At the start of the game, you have to customize your character, which you usually see in some other games. You answer some of the multiple-choice questions about your character's past, consisting of gender, which creates the character's beginning attributes. Then you would be able to choose some of your character's facial features to finish your character creation.

Pointing and clicking are the main actions that allow you to travel to other places and also interact with other parties. When you meet enemy parties, you can try to avoid or can engage in battle with them. Moreover, you will gain the renown if you win a battle and reach a higher standing in the game. When you defeat opponents or finish quests, you will earn experience points, which can be used to enhancing skills, weapons.

These are basic concepts you need to know when you enter the game. So how about the combat? The quantity of soldiers each party is limited by the skills and renown of the leader. Once the battle starts, you can command you troops by yelling commands, telling which wave should attack first and when your troops need to back-up or push. During the combat, you can choose to play in first person and third person where you like the most.

Compared to the single-player mode, the multiplayer mode only emphasizes on direct combat. Each match can have 200 players and divided into two teams based on the factions selected and has three kinds of pre-modern age military: Archery, Cavalry, and infantry. In another way to explain, the combat in multiplayer mode is similar to first-person shooter games.

Conclusion

Mount & Blade: Warband is an excellent way to practice your management skills, sensible logistic, and learn more awesome tactics. If 'cheating' is what you need, open the 'console command' and use the 'cheat menu'.
Have fun with the game!
