Basically, Pillars of Eternity is an RPG which includes a party-based real-time-with-pause tactical gameplay. In the beginning, you will do a character creation where you can choose your character's physical appearance, race, and creed. In the game, there are eleven classes for you to select: fighter, rogue, ranger, barbarian, monk, paladin, wizard, druid, priest, chanter, and cipher. Each of them gives you a different experience. In my opinion, I like to choose druids because you can turn into a beast and use spells.
In Pillars of Eternity, there are side quests for you, where do not affect the main quests. Moreover, you can play the game with scouting mode, which your enemies can not see you. Taking the benefits of the scouting spot, you can spot the hidden items and even traps to disarm and encounter enemies.
While you against enemies, their damage can affect your endurance and health. After combat, your endurance regenerates and resting is the only way to restore health. Try to maintain your health because you will die permanently if you lose all your health, meanwhile you are knocked out at the rest of the battle if your endurance drained.
In the game, there are five skills to go through the circumstances: Stealth, Athletics, Lore, Mechanics, and Survival. Still, the more battles you engage with the creatures and the more information about the character you earn.
Pillars of Eternity is an excellent way to entertain, develop your logistics and learn more grand strategic combats. If 'cheating' is what you need, open a console window and type in your desired cheat codes.
Have fun with the game!
